What to DO and BRING to a meet
 
DO:
1. Your jobs will be emailed to you as a reminder before the meet you are scheduled to work.
2. Check your e-mail on a regular basis. Your swimmer’s events will be e-mailed to you before each meet.
3. Print or copy your swimmers information to write on hands at meet.
4. Come dressed in team swimsuit.
5. Arrive at least half an hour before meet time.
6. Check-in swimmer(s).
7. Check in if you are working a job.
8. Listen for the “cow bells” which call 6 and under and 7/8 swimmers. Swimmers MUST report to the shepherding area and SHOULD NOT go directly to their lane. (This process is done for each stroke event.)
9. Allow time for parking.
10. Swim Meet Times (approximate):
  a. Saturday 8:30-1:00 (7:30 home/8:00 away warm-ups)
  b. Wednesday 5:00-9 (4:00 home/4:30 away warm-ups)
 
BRING:
1. A Sharpie marker to write event info on child’s hands and back.
2. Sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.
3. An umbrella or easy-up.
4. A blanket or tarp for kids to sit on.
5. Lawn chairs.
6. A camera or video camera.
7. Games, cards, books, Ipod, coloring books, Game Boy.
8. Extra towels.
9. Goggles and swim cap.
10. Sweatshirt or jacket especially for those Wednesday night meets.
11. You may want to bring a cooler with food and drinks to home and away meets and/or bring money for the snack bar that every team has available.
